We loved our stay at Westcliff Lodge! The room was spacious and clean, featuring two comfy queen beds. The view of the Columbia River from our balcony was stunning, and the bathroom was a great size with fantastic amenities. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, which made our family feel welcome. Plus, the location was perfect, just a short drive to downtown Hood River.
Traffic noise could be heard at times.

I loved the stunning views from my room and the beautiful garden surroundings. The room felt cozy, with wooden beams and a fireplace. Staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The balcony facing the river was a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy a peaceful moment. The cleanliness of the room impressed me, and I appreciated the amenities like the fridge and coffee pot. However, the Wi-Fi connection left much to be desired. It was spotty and frustrating at times. Also, the parking arrangements were confusing, which led to some annoyance for both me and other guests. There's no restaurant on-site, so prepare to either bring your own food or head next door to a not-so-great restaurant. Overall, the location felt remote, and a car is necessary to reach town easily.

We rented a King room with a beautiful river view. The grounds were well-kept, and we loved exploring the lovely picnic areas surrounded by trees and the soothing sound of the river.
Wasn't exactly cheap but honestly worth the cash.

The vibrant gardens with picnic tables were a favorite spot for morning coffee, immersing us in Hood River's natural beauty. The spacious, clean room added to our comfort, ensuring we were ready to explore the local eateries! There's so much to savor around here.
While the non-river front properties seemed less appealing, we still found charm in the cozy ambiance and beautiful grounds, making our stay enjoyable.

The view from the room was spectacular, overlooking the Columbia River and lush gardens. I loved having a private balcony to enjoy the sunset. The bed was really comfortable, and the room was clean and well-maintained. However, there were some issues that detracted from the experience. The kitchenette lacked essential items like dish towels and measuring cups. Also, I reserved a room for three people but only found two chairs at the table, which was inconvenient for family meals. Staff response to my request for an extra chair wasn't timely, which was disappointing. Despite these issues, the peaceful setting and beautiful grounds made it a relaxing getaway.

The beautiful view from the room made up for the shower being a bit cramped and the walls were quite thin, leading to some noise. The cleanliness of the place and friendly staff enhanced the experience, making it a solid choice for a relaxing getaway.

We totally digged the vibrant gardens with picnic tables—perfect for morning coffee while soaking up local veggies from the nearby farmer's market! Our spacious room was comfy, and the view from the balcony of the Columbia River was absolutely stunning.
The outside of the buildings felt a bit old-school, which was a bummer compared to the fancy Columbia Gorge Hotel next door. Plus, $270 for a night mid-week seemed a bit punchy, even if we could bring our two pups.
